Daddy's Little Girl
It occured to me that I am still very much "Daddy's little girl".
Not in the whiney, daddy-get-this-pretty-thingy-for-me way; but rather in the sense that his perspective on the world remains one of highest points of respect for me.
I never really shared too much in common with my mother but with my father, we share a strong sense of introspection and the comfort in solitude (albeit, I still need my music even in solitude while he likes his complete quiet).
I really enjoy hearing his point of view on the world around him. You can tell that he puts a lot of thought into it and has followed through with the chain-of-thought to the end before verbalizing it.
That's my Daddy!
